4 September - One day in Rhodes
"Today we approached the Greek island of Rhodes and entered the harbor late in the evening. Because of great harbor traffic we had to leave the pier very early in the morning and wait for the Scouts of Athens to fix us on a new place. Meanwhile, a huge aircraft-carrier approached the island and anchored next to our boat! Thus, our sessions on Conflict prevention and peace had a very "special" background view. Eventually, we landed by early afternoon and visited the beautiful city of Rhodes. In the evening, we enjoyed dinner hosted by the Greek Scouts Association and returned to the boat after a very long walk since the boat was repositioned. During the night, the sea in the harbor was quite rough but we were too tired to realise."
