12 August - Restore Hope ?

"We started sailing from Ashdod, still disappointed not to have been allowed to go to Gaza. So, we continued our trip for two long days out at sea. We had suddenly been hit by reality and we had our first conflict. Paradoxically, the impossibility to go to Gaza because of two consecutive decisions from Israel and the Palestinian Authority put us in a real situation  of negociation and mediation. On an educational point of view and whatever were our feelings, this was very interesting. But, do you think this is normal to involve a Youth Project in a such high political and diplomatic debate ?"
